+ April 09, 2021 THE City Health Office has noted an increase in the number of active cases in Cagayan de Oro after the city logged 26 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases.
As of 10 p.m. on April 8, the city recorded nine local cases with link, six local authorized persons outside residence (Apors) and 11 local index cases.
This brought the cumulative Covid-19 case count to 4,272.
According to Acting City Health Office Dr. Lorraine Nery, of the 4,272 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 431 were under the returning overseas Filipinos/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs) category and 3,841 cases were local transmissions.
The city s active cases, on the other hand, reached 200, 60 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 135 were outpatients, and five were ROFs/LSIs.

+ April 08, 2021 THE Cagayan de Oro City Health Office recorded 22 new coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases, bringing the total number of confirmed coronavirus infections in the city to 4,246.
Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said of the 22 new local cases, 10 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, four were local authorized persons outside residence (Apor), seven were local index cases, and one death.
Of the 4,246 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 431 were under the returning overseas Filipino workers/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs) category and 3,815 cases were local transmissions.
Nery said the 3,815 local cases consist of 189 persons deprived of liberty (PDL), 2,036 local index cases and 1,589 local cases with link.
