+ June 04, 2021 THE recovery rate of Cagayan de Oro has gone down to 76.81 percent, while the active cases rose to 1,434.
The total number of those who have recovered from the disease is now at 5,883 after the city recorded 65 new Covid-positive recovered patients.
Of the 5,883 recoveries, 313 were locally stranded individuals (LSIs), 124 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and 5,446 were local cases (community: 4,585; Apors: 861).
As of 10 p.m. of June 3, 120 residents of the city tested positive for the novel coronavirus, 38 of which were local cases with link, 20 were local persons outside residence (Apors), 39 were local index cases, 20 were persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), and three deaths, according to Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery.
June 02, 2021 CASES of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro continued to climb steadily, as the City Health Office reported 158 new infections, hitting another new high in a single day.
This brought the total number of Covid-19 infections in the city to 7,373.
Of the 158 new confirmed cases, 48 are close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 22 are local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), 87 are local index cases, and one death, Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery said.
Among the 7,373 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 440 are under the returning overseas Filipino workers/locally stranded individuals (ROFs/LSIs) category and 6,933 cases are local transmissions.
