Egypt is a 1-year-old brown tabby that’s available for adoption from the Effingham County animal shelter. “She’s very affectionate and she’s very pretty,” said shelter Director Lorna Shelton. “She has beautiful green eyes and she likes attention.” Also up for adoption this week is Abby, a 3-year-old lab-retriever mix. “She’s very sweet and calm,” Shelton said. “She’d make a great family pet.” She is being treated for heartworms.
