Marble is a 6-month-old kitten that’s available for adoption from the Effingham County animal shelter.
“She’s scared but once she gets into a home she’ll warm up,” said shelter Director Lorna Shelton. “She’s a pretty little kitten.”
Also up for adoption this week is Maisy, a year-old cat. “She’s very sweet,” Shelton said. “She’s outgoing and she likes attention.”
The adoption fee is $60 for cats and $75 for dogs and includes spaying or neutering and basic shots.
