Accident and the alert we just saw from caltrans is in order to get the trucks out of the way and the vehicles out of the way and to clean up the debris they may not be able to get all of the lanes reopened. I want to get over to Sal Castaneda in the Traffic Center keeping an eye on the backup. Things are not looking much better, westbound 580 that is. I got a call from someone who said even the highway through dublin getting into danville has been affected. People are also on highway 4 driving on highway 4 off of the Altamont Pass. We actually saw the traffic on the Altamont Pass disappear as people are using highway 4 to get to the bay area and it is very heavy on 680 coming through highway 24. People have been doing a lot to get out of the accident, Leigh Martinez was just moved off of the freeway wh
