Spring brews on Staten Island: What to expect as the weather warms

Not only is it the prime season for the appeal of some of his brands but it’s also an opportunity to step into the fresh air and get together, he said, as social distancing formally allows.
“Cherry blossom time now means I will be reuniting with customers who have been hibernating for the winter,” said Roccarro with a chuckle. He says that traditionally patron hanker for Strongbow’s Cherry Blossom, a pink-y cider that parent company Heineken USA recommends served over ice, and Hofbrau Maibock. 1 1/2 cups ground almonds 1 Cup ground walnuts 1/2 Cup potato starch 1/4 Cup granulated sugar, plus 1 1/2 teaspoons for sprinkling on top 1/2 Cup confectioners sugar, plus extra for dusting
To make the tart: 1 large egg white, beaten, for glazing

For the crust:
Step 1: In a large bowl with an electric mixer on high speed, beat 1/2 cup (1 stick) margarine until soft, scraping down the sides of the bowl with a silicone spatula once or twice.
Step 2: Add 1 1/2 cups ground almonds, 1 cup ground walnuts, 1/2 cup ground hazelnuts, 1/2 cup potato starch and 1/4 cup granulated sugar and mix. Separate a little more than half the dough and put it into your tart or pie pan. Leave the remaining dough in the bowl.
