Travelers on their way to sunny san diego had to make an unexpected stop in denver last night. United flight 1243 landed at dia because of a possible security concern. The flight which was coming from newark, new jersey, made it to denver at about 930 last night. Here you can see investigate. Passengers were evacuated and bussed to the terminal. The fbi says someone reported a suspicious item on board but nothing was found. That flight did finally make it san diego. Once all passengers were rescreened and let back on the plane. A family in clifton got quite the wakeup from a swat team on wednesday morning. Grand Junction Police and the Mesa County Sheriffs Office were looking for meth. Instead the found an innocent family. Oops. The suspects they were looking for had already moved out. Police say it was a bad tip that led them to the old address. And say they will pay for the damage. People wearing halloween masks at the time. In this particular case, the Armed Robbers shot one of the victims, 70yearold carol brown and pistol whipped her husband, tom spawledder who is also 70. Brown is a school board member. She remains in the hospital recovering from the gunshot wounds. I talked with the couples son a short time ago at their home about the possibility that the people behind the crime have been arrested. It makes me feel a little more safe. Obviously if these guys were caught, it would make my family feel more safe. Probably the whole neighborhood feel more safe. People like this shouldnt be in our society, i believe. Reporter now, authorities arent releasing much information about the people who are now in custody. They say that there were six armed robberies during a four day period last week throughout the east bay. That included robberies in danville, fremont and livermore and in all of those cases the robbers confronted their victims in either the driveways or
