Area around 6 00 in the evening. Heres whats left of this storm system. Showers in southern maryland. Widely scattered light showers in parts of montgomery and Frederick County and heavier rain back over the mountains. Again, this moves out of the area by 10 00 a. M. c comfortably cool this morning as well with temperatures in the 60s. Dave, youre tracking an issue on the roads after a quiet morning. Luckily the bulk of that storm damage stayed well to the west of the metro area. The bulk of the metro area beltway included off to a good start. Were looking at i95 and northbound traffic slow through woodbridge near Prince William parkway. A crash just got put in its place on the right shoulder. All lanes are open. Brief delay getting past it. Not bad on 66. Heavy eastbound toward centreville. Beltway traffic growing. On rails, orange and silver lanes a because of unscheduled no trains getting through at all.
