Los Angeles: Indo-Canadian YouTube star and late-night talk show host Lilly Singh sported I stand with farmers mask at the red carpet of 2021 Grammy Awards to reiterate her support to the ongoing farmers agitation in India.
The 32-year-old social media personality took to Twitter and posted a picture of herself from the 63rd edition of the Grammy Awards.

TV host Lilly Singh set to star in animated LGBTQ+ princess film

According to a report from Variety, actress Lilly Singh will be starring in a new animated LGBTQ+ princess musical.
The project, which is titled Lilly Singh’s Proud Princess, will be featured on Pocket.watch as part of their digital kids content 2021 slate.
In the film, Singh will voice a young girl that goes on a journey to discover her identity and pride.
Albie Hecht the chief content officer at Pocket.watch, opened up partnering with Singh, stating: “She’s an amazing talent and represents an example of the diverse points of view we are bringing to our audience.”
The ongoing agitation led by farmers from the states of Punjab and Haryana found some support from international celeb-verse. After American pop superstar Rihanna and Swedish teen eco warrior Greta Thunberg, it was the turn of Mia Khalifa to voice her opinion.
Khalifa, a former adult star, in a Twitter post questioned the internet ban around New Delhi. What in the human rights violations is going on?!, she wrote. Earlier on Monday, the Home Ministry had issued a ban on internet services around the agitation site on the Singhu border in a bid to contain fake news from being circulated.
