I usually start with the federal level and i wanted to give you a report that the Older Americans the Congress Passed a shortterm continuation of the Older Americans act. As i mentioned before, it was some set it on september 30th so they passed a shortterm resolution to keep it going until november 21st. In the meantime, we are hoping to work out the appropriation differences that they have, so we had really news on the house side that there were actually they were proposing some increases for the Older Americans act and on the senate side, it was much less impressive. So theres still a lot of advocacy to be done, and hopefully our advocates from San Francisco will be thinking about how we can reach out and make sure that the Older Americans act gets funded at hopefully better levels than it currently looks like on the senate guide.
