I felt i was happy to give back to the program that, like, just helped me succeed through college. Early last year, according to a new lawsuit filed by friedel, she applied for two permanent positions within the uc system at the urging of her supervisor, elizabeth moya. Soon after, jocelyn and moya took a work trip to uc santa barbara, joined by another supervisor in the stars program, joshua solis. After a day of work events, jocelyn says moya and solis invited her out for drinks. Right now, at 11 00, we are following breaking news in mexico. You can see this video almost doesnt look real. A stage collapses as though strong winds whipped the area. People running for their lives. This happened during a Campaign Rally in the wealthy enclave of san pedro garza garcia. This is near the city of monterrey, mexico. A mexican president ial candidate, Jorge Alvarez martinez, was on the stage when this happened. He is now in the hospital and says hes okay, but many others are not. At least four people are dead, 15 others injured are the top story. Tonight, a vta bus watched that video, by a passenger with a machete, and the bus driver tells us it felt like forever until help arrived when he pressed his panic button right there on the bus. The call first went to vta dispatchers and then to the Sheriffs Department. The driver says the delay could have cost him his life. Well, laura marcus, a former police chief, leronne armstrong, he was born and raised in oakland. Hes raised his own family here.
