Morning, and temperatures are in the 50s. A jacket required heading out the door are sure. A little bit of patchy drizzle showing up on the radar. Out through parts of northern worcester county, you can see overall we just have cloud cover overhead. Steadier rain is sitting to the south, and it is not moving in our direction. In fact, this area of High Pressure to the north is bringing down drier air. As we go through the day, clouds town having to lunchtime. And during the afternoon, we may see some sunshine in boston, north shore, through metrowest and worcester county. The cloudier skies are on the south shore. The temperatures stay chilly, holding in the 50s, nudging that 6

As we get deeper into the afternoon, some of that me sink down, so we may actually see a little bit of brightening with sunshine developing and spot this afternoon by about 4 00. The temperatures are in the 50s but the wind is what you are going to notice. Rough, especially along the coastline. We are getting gusts to 20 Miles Per Hour, even 30 but everywhere you will notice the wind. Just 50 in worcester. 55 in boston, and closer to 60 on the cape but look it said towards concord and keen. Cooler because here the skies are clear. Were under the clouds right now, and you can see that there is steadier rain and heavy rain at that, just to the south, and this is trying to lift northward. It is not going to be able to budge today because its running into the High Pressure, which has drier air associated with that, and some of it will be sneaking down the coast. You can see that here, as the clearer skies go to areas outside of 495 before lunchtime. We keep a lot of clouds, and as we get into the afternoon, p
Is good news. Also, as we look down in the tropics, were looking at matthew. It was a category five last night. They dropped it down a couple of miles an hour. Maximum sustained winds still 155 miles per hour, making it a category four storm. Its running over very warm water right now. Thats allowing it to continue to strengthen. As far as whats going to happen, it looks like it will become a category three and move towards jamaica late tomorrow night. Th through the bahamas. This is thursday of next week. So late next week we start to really Pay Attention to whats going to be happening in the east coast area including new england. Thats a week away. In the meantime, watch out for ponding of the roadways. This rain is so beneficial that we have.
