It started thin then turned into a giant. It was a hulking column of wind and debris. The sky blackened. Its day two of a monster storm system that has peppered a 1,500mile arc with grapefruitsized hail and winds up to 80 miles an hour. Hes over, hes over oh [ bleep ]. Call 911, call 911. The governor of illinois says a second person has died after tornadoes struck the northern part of that state. One of the hardest hit areas is fairdale. Tornadoes flattened buildings there and the storms left devastation in the town of rochelle. Search and rescue teams are continuing to dig through the rubble. Looking for any survivors.
