(MURFREESBORO) Around 10:00 o'clock Saturday morning (1/30/2021), a Cessna 162 was flying between Murfreesboro and Shelbyville when they had engine trouble. It made an emergency landing in a field alongside Rucker Road.
Rutherford County Sheriff's Sgt. Bryant Gregory reported, "The Murfreesboro pilot and a passenger were flying when the plane apparently stalled and could not be restarted. At that point the local pilot called 'Mayday' and made an emergency landing."

(SMYRNA TN) Rutherford County Fire Rescue and Stormpoint Drone Team were requested to assist in the Saturday (1/30/2021) evening search efforts for a missing 15-year old juvenile near Wade Herrod Road, in the Smyrna area.

The team responded to the location and immediately launched a drone with FLIR technology, allowing them to detect heat signatures on the ground level.
The cold temperatures actually aided in the search and crews were able to track the juvenile with the thermal imaging technology in about 13 minutes.

(MURFREESBORO) Around 12:30 Saturday afternoon (1/2/2021) a 911 call was received about a home fire on Asbury Lane. First units on the scene reported heavy smoke and flames already coming through the front door. 54-year old Lloyd Chisholm was killed and three others were taken to the ER at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.

(SMYRNA TN) Shortly after 3:00 o clock Monday (12/21/2020) afternoon, a semi-truck overturned on Jefferson Pike near Hickory Grove Road.
C-Shift personnel from Smyrna Fire Department along with officers from Smyrna Police Department responded to the accident.
