Learning of his death early yesterday morning. He leaves a huge construction boom, a huge tech boom. San francisco was just coming out of the recession when he took office in the beginning part of 2011. As we take you to the mayors second home, San Francisco city hall glittering in the sun, you see the memorial has been set up on the front steps of that beautiful building. So many changes happening on the second floor of the building. Thats where the Mayors Office is. And thats where we find a flag at halfstaff in honor of mayor ed lee. Welcome to the 9 here.
