Witnesses heard the crash, felt the fireball and watched as the driver of that truck bolted from the scene. Police call it a hitandrun leaving his injured passenger behind. Somebody was running down the opposite way. The car almost i was worried about getting him away. Reporter inside that police car, officer mark kimsey was trapped, the flames growing. I saw it was a cop careneand started sprinting. Reporter they rushed over and pulled the injured officer from the burning car. Chambers says he doesnt regret what he did. The door wouldnt open.
