A guilty verdict for a man who shot and killed a Vallejo Police officer. Jim capoot was killed in 2011 chasing suspected bank robber henry smith in north vallejo. Smith bailed from his car and capoot ran after him and smith opened fire shooting the officer three times. Smith was found guilty of first degree murder. He is being held in Solano County jail.
