WATERBURY, Conn. A 45-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that happened over the weekend.
Police responded to the area of Bronson Street and found 24-year-old Waterbury native Devante Echols with a gunshot wound to his head. Echols was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Investigators said they believe that an argument took place between the victim and other people in the area prior to the shooting
Kyshone Jackson was arrested in connection with the deadly shooting and is facing multiple charges including murder, criminal possession of a pistol or revolver, and reckless endangerment in the first degree.

Waterbury police have arrested a man charged with murder after a deadly shooting over the weekend.

Echols was treated on scene and taken to a nearby hospital where he died of his injuries. Investigators said it appeared Echols had been involved in an argument before the shooting.

WATERBURY A 45-year-old has been charged with murder in connection to the shooting death of a 24-year-old, according to police.
Officials have identified Waterbury resident Devante Echols as the victim of a shooting Saturday on Bronson Street. He was found “with a gunshot wound to the head” that day and pronounced dead at a hospital not long after, police said.
Kyshone Jackson has been charged with murder, unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a pistol or revolver, carrying a pistol without a permit, illegal sale or transfer of a firearm, weapons in a motor vehicle, criminal possession of a pistol revolver or ammunition as well as reckless endangerment, police said in a release Monday night.
