Leadership Harrisburg Area To Host Galactic Graduation Event At FNB Field
(Harrisburg, PA) Leadership Harrisburg Area is going to be hosting its Galactic Graduation Event at FNB Field this week. The event will be held on Wednesday from eleven-in-the-morning until one-in-the-afternoon at the field on City Island. Officials say about 400 individuals will be graduating at the event and Omar L. Harris will give a keynote speech called From Servant Leadership to JEDI Leadership . Carlisle Barbershop Shooting Kills One Person
(Carlisle, PA) One person is dead after a shooting broke out at a barbershop in Carlisle. The shooting occurred Saturday night at the GQ Barber Shop in the one-hundred block of North Hanover Street. Police say one person was pronounced dead at the scene and another victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The investigation is ongoing.

The company opened its 400th store. The new store opened at 32 Springfield Plaza Road in Springfield, Vermont. And with the new opening marked Ollie’s expansion into its 26th state.
The retain chain known for it’s “Good Stuff Cheap” advertisements and its closeouts, plans to open more than 1,050 stores nationwide.
“Since our humble beginnings in Mechanicsburg, PA almost 39 years ago, we have experienced explosive growth while staying true to our roots of offering customers brand name merchandise at up to 70% off the fancy store prices,” John Swygert, president and CEO of Ollie’s Bargain Outlet said in a press release.

One of Harrisburg’s longtime shopping centers has welcomed a number of new tenants.
Four new businesses have recently opened at the Kline Plaza shopping center in Harrisburg, and another business and a nonprofit will open at the shopping center as well.
Jocelyn Crawley plans to open a nonprofit in memory of her mother Olivia.
HLCO which stands for Higher Level Community Outreach will open in an upstairs space at Kline Plaza. HLCO is expected to open next month in space 60.
“This is a very special program catered to motivate, mentor and develop educational opportunities for disadvantaged, homeless and at risk youths,” Kevin Nassimi, vice president of leasing at Nassimi Realty said in an e-mail.
