Watsonville 7-Eleven handing out 500 free pizzas on Christmas Eve [Santa Cruz Sentinel, Calif.]
Dec. 23 WATSONVILLE The Main Street 7-Eleven in Watsonville will hand out 500 take and bake pizzas on Christmas Eve as a way to give back to a community after a challenging year.
“A lot of families are hurting right now…they lost their job, their income, they can’t see family members, so we’re hoping the pizza is comfort food,” Sherry Dang, co-owner of the local franchise, said.
The Christmas Eve pizza giveaway will take place 11 a.m. at 1461 Main St., Watsonville.
Dang and her partner Kirk DiCicco own and operate five 7-Eleven stores across the Monterey Bay region two in Santa Cruz, another in Salinas and two in Watsonville.
