Freshman Savanah Henley pitched a complete game in the outing, notching three strikeouts, including two swinging in the first inning. With the result, Henley moves to a 1-4 record on the season.
Purdue was out-hit 6-2 in the morning showdown, with the dual Boilermaker hits notched by sophomore third baseman Cora Bassett and junior pinch hitter Becca Jones.
