RWMC conducts cleanliness at Sasta Bazaar

Islamabad : Under its ongoing drive against epidemics and on the direction of MD Rawalpindi Waste Management Company (RWMC) Awais Manzoor Tarar, the communication team of RWMC here on Friday conducted special cleanliness awareness campaign in Ramazan Sasta Bazar, Shamsabad and met with various stall holders and customers to disseminate them cleanliness message.
The team distributed pamphlets among them to guide them for taking precautionary measures against pandemic by disposing off their solid waste.
They were moreover told that their co-operation with the company would not only lead to a Clean and Green City, but would protect the health of the citizen.
Protest hinders supply to ‘Ramazan Sasta Bazaars’

Rawalpindi : All ‘Ramazan Sasta Bazaars’ were without basic items including pulses, sugar, ghee, basin, vegetables and fruits because Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) protesters did not allow loaded trucks to enter the city areas. The workers of TLP blocked traffic at T-Chowk near Rawat and Tarnol here on Tuesday.
The angry supporters of Tehreek-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) carrying batons in their hands took full control of all city areas and forcefully closed down all markets and shops at Murree Road. Even banks and petrol pumps also shut down their businesses in fear.

Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi district administration on the special directives of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar, has set up 16 Ramazan Bazaars for uninterrupted supply of daily use commodities at affordable rates during the holy month.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rawalpindi Captain (r) Anwar-ul-Haq has said that the district administration had finalized a plan to provide relief to the citizens during Ramazan.
He said, all-out efforts would be made to provide relief to the people during Ramazan as a plan had been finalized to ensure availability of all essential commodities in the markets at affordable rates.
