MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) The Bethany Lutheran College women’s basketball team made the most of an abbreviated regular season campaign by capturing the program’s second straight UMAC regular-season title on Monday.
The Vikings only lost one game in the seven played this year and capped off the campaign with a dominant 88-69 victory over North Central.
The hardware comes after coming together as a team and dealing with all the ups and downs thrown at student-athletes.

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) â The Mankato Loyola boysâ basketball team is ranked sixth in the state, thanks, in part, to the play of senior guard Logan Carlson.
Carlson is averaging nearly 15 points and five assists per game this season.
The multi-sport athlete is doing a bit of everything on the floor for the Crusaders this year while being a leader for the younger players on the team.

NEW ULM, Minn. (KEYC) â The Minnesota Valley Lutheran girlsâ basketball squad is 10-3 with six regular-season games remaining.
The consensus amongst the group is to win out.
âWeâve got a good group of juniors and seniors this year, and with all the COVID-19 stuff like that, it was kind of a question as to whether or not weâd be able to play and when we were given the green light to go ahead and play and the girls really have been responding well and enjoying the season,â Head Coach Rollin Timm said.
