(KEYC) — The Minnesota Valley Lutheran girls’ basketball squad is 10-3 with six regular-season games remaining. The consensus amongst the group is to win out. “We’ve got a good group of juniors and seniors this year, and with all the COVID-19 stuff like that, it was kind of a question as to whether or not we’d be able to play and when we were given the green light to go ahead and play and the girls really have been responding well and enjoying the season,” Head Coach Rollin Timm said.

The project will include the expansion of Highway 14 between Nicollet and New Ulm from two-lanes to four-lanes, as well as some new interchanges at New Ulm and Courtland. (KEYC) — The Brown County Historical Society was awarded a Minnesota Historical and Cultural Heritage grant Thursday. The $8,982 grant will be used to inventory, catalog and photograph objects house in the Brown County Museum’s artifact storage spaces. Some of the objects in these spaces include textiles, household furnishings, sculptures and paintings. The project is the second phase of a five-year comprehensive inventory of the 16,000 artifacts in the Brown County Historical Society’s artifact collection.
