Nats removing trees off the truck crushed beneath a fallen tree is William Browns truck. Its where he nearly lost his life wednesday, when a tornado plowed through the town of waverly. Minor burn. A man and woman got out from the first floor. A woman and a child also got out from the second floor, according to investigators. It started around 2 00 this morning on kingston avenue. Thats near cape view avenue, just one block behind West Ocean View avenue. Now here is a still picture of the scene from the norfolk fire department. You can see just how intense the flames got. A spokesman told us more than 30 firefighters responded to the scene. Dominion virginia power crews responded because of a downed power line from the fire.
