Late last night pg e worked outlet a deal with attorneys of the fire victims that eliminated the need to get the governor to signoff on a settlement. The victims will get 13. 5 billion. Insurers will get 11 billion. Pg e will still need the governor to approve its overall plan as it plans to get out of bankruptcy by june 30th. When i saw the numbers come out after the holidays, that was impressive. To see the consumer so strong, people are going to work, people are finding jobs. I got so many friends that have two jobs now. Folks that dont make a lot of money, their education levels arent that high but yet theyre able to provide for their family and i think thats what really matters is the middle class is getting a boost right now in this economy.
