They say the house on the 400 block of old street road was designed to be totally selfsufficient so the homeownerrer never had to let anyone in or out. They also had cadaver dogs searching the property for potential bodies that may be buried there. Reporter just minutes ago, denise, we were told investigators are going through every single room in the house, meticulously cataloging everything theyve seen. Theyve found out the children were living in the basement. They said that the children were living on air mattresses. They found homework. A lot of instruments, violins, clarinets, were assuming the children were being home schooled in the house. Investigators say theyre not close to being done. Authorities returned to the home of lee kaplan, this time to gather evidence. They blocked off the street and brought out dogs to search for clues.
