There could be showers and winds picking up. Were seeing the high clouds across the shore right now. The center of jose is well offshore. Its tracking to the north. Its not going to make a direct hit. The outer bands do start moving back our way. The center of the storm about 350 miles off the atlantic city. The first outer band about 100 miles offshore. This wont be a destructive storm, but that doesnt mean it wont be a real problem. We have three reporters tonight, Trish Hartman . Avalon, Annie Mccormick in Atlantic City and the latest information from accuweather and meteorologist cecily tynan. Whats the story . If you look at the hurricane jose, it looks more like a noreaster. Its losing its characteristics, but its 175 Miles Per Hour, center 235miles east of cape hatteras. It was stationary for a while, but its moving north about 10 Miles Per Hour. We are beginning to see the outer cloud bands, rain bands in the atlantic. Looking outside, things are actually looking really good. So hopefully, traffic stays that way, i know, katie, you will have your hands full. Specially, and you have traffic, and nobody will be driving in their truck down the actual beach, thats where you ends up with the worse of the storm, certainly indirect impacts further in you go, the lesser it becomes of a concern but here is a storm, jose still churning and making its biggest impact on our area throughout the day today. See rounds of rain roll into the shore. Right now primarily just a cloud deck that were finding, most of that moisture has maintained just off shore, but some of the moisture again starting to creep ever closer places like ocean county start to see showers before the morning is said and done, certainly, the clouds will thicken further
