I read in disbelief the article “Western Pa. congressmen join rebuke of U.S. Attorney General William Barr” (Dec. 3, TribLIVE). Five Pennsylvania Republicans, including John Joyce and Guy Reschenthaler, expressed dismay because Barr is not supporting President Trump’s election fraud conspiracy.
Certainly these Republicans know it has been reported that this baseless election fraud idea is being used to solicit funds from Trump supporters funds, more than $200 million to date, that are not going to his court cases as stated but in part going to Trump’s PAC, where he can use the money at his discretion. In my opinion, Trump is working a con on his supporters, and these legislators are backing his efforts.
