Live doppler 7 hd at the moment is quiet and it will be rather active over the next couple of days as not one but a series of storms moves through the area. About 18,000 feet in the atmosphere is where storms gather their moisture and move. That line of arrows is the jet stream. That pretty much dictates where storms go. In the next couple of days, that jet stream will set up shop right over the bay area.
