The case was transferred to the Lokayukta over a month ago, after the Siddaramaiah government withdrew consent given by the BJP government to the CBI to probe the matter.
The CBI has challenged a decision of the Congress government to withdraw consent for the agency to probe assets of D K Shivakumar and an order of the state to refer the matter to the Karnataka Lokayukta for investigation.
