NEW DELHI: Amid the relentless agitation by the farmers at the Delhi borders, the Supreme Court of India(CJI) suspends farm law implementation til further notice. Supreme Court decision came after a petitions challenging the validity of the these farm laws.
Detailed SC order is expected to come by tomorrow.
Earlier the Apex Court lashed out at the Centre for failing to end the deadlock and proposed the formation of an expert committee headed by a former Chief Justice of India to help find a resolution to the matter.

New Delhi, Jan 12 : The Supreme Court on Tuesday stayed the implementation of the three controversial farm laws and formed a four-member committee to take over negotiations with the farmers on the impact of these laws.
On Monday, the top court had indicated that it may appoint a retired Chief Justice on the committee and asked the parties involved in the matter to suggest few names. Chief Justice S.A. Bobde disclosed that he had asked former Chief Justice P. Sathasivam but he was reluctant since he doesn t understand Hindi. Former Chief Justice R.M. Lodha s name was also suggested during the hearing.

New Delhi, Jan 11: The Supreme Court has asked if the farm laws be put on hold for sometime. We do not know what negotiations are on between the farmer unions and Centre, a Bench headed by Chief Justice of India, S A Bobde said. The court will deliver its verdict on Tuesday.
The SC hearing a challenge to the farm laws made by the Centre. The court also remarked that it is very disappointed with the way the entire process is going.
On the last date of the hearing, the court had asked the Centre to file a report relating to the guidelines on gatherings, while hearing pleas on the farmer protests.
The Supreme Court on Tuesday will pronounce its order on a bunch of petitions opposing the three farm laws and also the petitions seeking removal of the protesters from various Delhi borders.A bench headed by Chief Justice S. A. Bobde and .
