still to be counted in nevada and arizona is that in nevada, they may be more predictable in terms of their partisan camps, whereas in arizona, it s a little bit more of a jump ball in terms of what the likely partisan character at those votes is, is that fair? the reason is that in washoe county, where reno is, they actually gave a burqa of those votes that arrived on election day. they actually told you how many of them were by republicans, how many were by democrats. the number who wererepublican outnumbered the democrats. we know that overall in the early vote in washoe county, there were more democrats than republicans who are voting, so it s a reversal from that turned. in arizona, and in maricopa, we don t know. what we know is that in 2020, that big, big final batch was republican, and in 2018, it was democratic. there s real suspense around it. yes, legit. we have much more to come tonight, we ll go back to steve as soon as we get those new votes in. we ll go live to arizo
land that they start to come in in maricopa county, we can see a similar closing and the cap like we saw nevada. the question is are there enough votes left to do it? trace: that is a great question, kevin, you look at this whole thing, kept the lights on in the doors open because there is movement, right, some excitement happening when you don t know what will happen in arizona. that is certainly getting a lot closer and it does look like georgia will go to a runoff. that is what we hear from state officials in the peach state it will likely go to the run up the next dates. but the polls tightening must win states for republicans and that is nevada senate seat. and some of those rule results taking adam laxalt up against catherine cortez masto. 20% is still outstanding and clark county where you see the vast majority of the back to mike black coalition in that state. it is a jump ball and laxalt is

fetterman. the battle for control of the senate could hinge on the race. what is the thinking in the fetterman campaign headquarters? reporter: yeah, it certainly could, skjake, and across the country, democrats are playing defense. here is where they could play offense. an open senate seat, republican pat toomey is retiring, and democrats would love to pick this up. i talked to several campaign sources late this afternoon, and one of them acknowledging this is a jump ball, we know this is an incredibly tight race. what we are confident in, they closed it out as strongly as they could. the campaign feels like the last five days have been very good for them. they highlight the oprah winfrey endorsement that came late thursday and dominated the local news cycle on friday. they had the rally with former president obama and president biden in philadelphia, and one here in pittsburgh with obama, and they really feel like that has really lifted and given them a lot of momentum heading into
