We got the permission and the night before we were supposed to leave we got a phone call from the commanders guys and they said you are welcome to come tomorrow but the one thing you cannot do is bring a woman. Dexter and i looked at each other and said we are not separating theres no way so our translator who had close ties to the taliban said what are we going to do .
