Sources say Police Believe that more than one suspect is involved in what appears to be a quadruple murder at this multimillion dollar mansion on Woodland Drive in northwest. Sources tell news 4 investigators believe this began sometime wednesday afternoon, continued through the night and ended thursday afternoon when a fire was set apparently to cover up the murders. Found dead inside the house, a man, his wife their 10yearold son and the familys housekeeper. Sources say investigators believe the suspects had knowledge of this family and how they lived their daytoday lives. Sources believe that people in the house were bound and threatened until the man got what they were looking for. Now, there are two security cameras over there. Canvassing the neighborhood, searching for clues. Montgomery county police say they are investigating the thats of richard the depths of richard and Julianne Vilardo as a double homicide. This is a facebook photograph of the vilardos posted in 2012. I would see them walking all of the time. They were a very nice, loving couple, and a very nice neighborhood. Diane they were supposed to meet up with family members on sunday, but when they did not show up, relatives came to their home here on ridge drive in rockville, just before 12 20 sunday afternoon, and they made a gruesome discovery. They say richard was found outside his home, and his wife was inside. There was trauma to their upper bodies. We are investigating these deaths as homicides. But we will wait until autopsies are completed and hear from the medical examiner. Diane and this is what the scene looks like at this hour. It happened last night on mallee road in landover but the Sheriffs Department has just released details in the past hour. They say deputies were pursuing the suspect when that man rammed his truck into the deputys car. Two deputies opened fire. The suspect died at scene. The deputies who are five and sixyear veterans of the force are on routine administrative leave. A mothers day tragedy and now a mystery.
