didn t say anything at all about what happened to joyce chung or how they came to close this case. they simply said, case closed. that came from the police chief and said that joyce chung was, in fact, not a victim of homicide. you go back to january of 1999. joyce chung disappeared. we know that much. for several weeks rer family held vigils waiting for her to be found and her body, we understand, washed up in april of 1999 along the shores of the potomac. at that point the police ruled that case a homicide. from that date to this, that was not the case. they did not believe that joyce chung would take her own life. today the police chief did come out and say based on what they were able to do based on cold case investigation, they did determine this was, in fact, not a suicide and joyce chung did not kill herself. for the record, so the record is straight, this case has now been ruled officially a homicide and as far as at the outcome of this case, this case is considered
