Allegations have mounted, franken has tried to apologize to his accusers. He has said that he would work with the ethics committee. He said he would try to regain the trust of his minnesota voters. In the end, though, following the resignation earlier this week of democratic congressman john conyers fellow democrats one by one came out in force this week urging franken to resign. Some lawmakers here on capitol hill especially female lawmakers say this is a seed change in how Sexual Harassment is treated up here on capitol hill. The democrats sometimes painfully have stepped forward, conyers longest serving member of congress and said hes got to go. The Democratic Senators have said the same thing about al franken even though most of what he did was before he even became a senator. So, it seems to me a new standard has been set. I think the focus right now needs to be much more on what can w the victims. If somebody here in Congress Left their job because they felt they were being sexua
