Reporter we still dont know the names of the three women who died in this fire, but firefighters say this is a tragic lesson about working smoke detectors. They say there were several inside the house but they were missing batteries. Contra costa county firefighters are sifting through the rubble of this house after an intense blaze, which lit up the night sky. Three women living here did not escape the smoke and flames. They loved the lord. They were pleasant. She was just a nice woman. I just talked to one lady in particular. She was a wonderful woman. Neighbor says the three women were related.
