Terry. Reporter when you hear a man firing towards people in a casino town you think the massacre last month. The ap is reporting the las vegas gunman Stephen Paddock once owned a unit at the high rise condo complex where the reno gunman fired tonight. A camera rolling when that gunman opened fire. Those shots fired just before 7 00 tonight, a number of people calling 911 with reports of an active shooter. Police respond to the montage condominium complex on north sierra street. The gunman on the 8th floor, this is in downtown reno near a bunch of casinos, reno police responded, so did the s. W. A. T. Team from the Sheriffs Office. Next thing i know, boom, boom, boom about the oh my god, i didnt know. I was scared. Really scared. Shaken. Officers immediately respond to the area and actually heard those shots. Truck cross a few lanes of traffic and nearly collide with another vehicle in the process. You dont see the vehicle crash into the toll plaza but you can see the aftermath, the cab smashed, the toll booth worker, sisi hahn, a cal trans vehicle, killed. She leaves behind a daughter and a husband. Passengers and drivers at the plaza were injured. The driver of the truck was ejected but survived the crash. The ones that suffered injuries were nonlife threatening. The driver we understand suffered fairly major injuries. Unfortunately the toll booth taker was killed. Reporter here is video as it approached the toll plaza. The california Highway Patrol has identified the driver of that truck as 32yearold daniel burke of foster city. He is expected to be booked once hes released from Highland Hospital in oakland. Burke is facing charges of suspicion of dui and vehicular manslaughter. The california Highway Patrol is saying this evening, they expect that most of the lanes that had been shut do
