A man has been arrested in Lancaster County for allegedly trying to breach a doorway inside the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6 with a crowd that included Ashli Babbit, the woman shot and killed by officers that day.
Alam was turned into federal authorities by a relative, according to court documents in his arrest.
He had allegedly been part of an aggressive crowd that confronted officers at the door of the Senate Speaker s lobby. Alam shouted F - the blue multiple times at the police then started kicking the door, finally using a helmet to violently strike two glass panels in the door, according to court records.

A man who took part in the Jan. 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol was arrested in Denver on Saturday, according to the FBI.
Zachary Jordan Alam, 29, whose hometown was not listed by the Department of Justice, was charged with assault on a federal officer with a dangerous or deadly weapon, destruction of government property, obstruction of an official proceeding, unlawful entry on a restricted building and violent entry and disorderly conduct, according to a criminal complaint.
Alam was arrested at a motel in the 2400 block of Reading Road, the FBI said on Tuesday.
