A man has been arrested in Lancaster County for allegedly trying to breach a doorway inside the U.S. Capitol Jan. 6 with a crowd that included Ashli Babbit, the woman shot and killed by officers that day.
Alam was turned into federal authorities by a relative, according to court documents in his arrest.
He had allegedly been part of an "aggressive" crowd that confronted officers at the door of the Senate Speaker's lobby. Alam shouted "F--- the blue" multiple times at the police then started kicking the door, finally using a helmet to "violently" strike two glass panels in the door, according to court records.
