power on capitol hill. the crucial midterm elections just seven days away, and brand new fox news polls show democrats and republicans are gaining ground in key senate races. let s get first to west virginia. it s still a dead heat. the democrat, the governor there joe manch inhas picked up a few points on john raese in the past three weeks. in connecticut richard blumenthal almost doubling his lead over the republican linda mcmahon. he is now up by 11:00, well outside the margin of error. and in kentucky, the home of the face stepping, the republican rand paul leading democrat jack conway now by seven points, also outside the margin of error. pulse opinion research conducting all those polls for fox news. of course, most analysts say republicans do have a better shot at taking control of the house. but they also point out the g.o.p. is in danger of losing a few seats. let s get to team fox coverage now from america s election headquarters. mike tobin in kentucky where that whole face
