republican candidate, linda mcmahon. the people of this state want someone of the state that cares not for the people who work for her, to go and represent them in washington? the only reason that woman wants to go to washington is to protect the dollars that wwe makes, to head off any attempt to regulate their industry. megyn: well, ben ferguson is an icon network radio talk show host, and the former president of the media senator. thanks so much for being here. this is a little bizarre, if but for some this is a very important issue, and i want to start with you, because dick blumenthal flew mr. benoit down to connecticut and organized that press conference and was clearly putting him out there because he wants to take a shot at mcmahon. she says it s a week before the campaign, political, you can see her point, but did he raise a good point?
people here in connecticut. you know, the voters in connecticut are looking for jobs, they re looking for the economy to turn around, and, you know, to fly chris benoit s father down here for a press conference today was, i think, pretty reprehensible. megyn: let me just play devil s advocate right now because you guys don t agree with the move. mr. benoit says the reason he wanted to speak to this is because he believes the only reason she is running is because she s against any sort of regulatory crackdown on the wwe, and she wants to make sure she gets the power to try to prevent it. now, if that s true, all right, so you can t dismiss that right out of hand. maybe you want to, but let s say he has a point, then that is something connecticut voters have a right to know, suspect it, ben isn t it, ben? i think they ve already exhausted that issue. they ve talked about this. she s had to deal with it the entire time, her connection to the wwe. it s been in the commercials against h
