Murder conviction in august, ordered dassey released from prison this week. Dassey had been convicted of the rape and murder of Teresa Halbach in 2005 , along with his uncle steven avery. Week looking . Its been 20 months since a driver hit and dragged a Denver Police officer under his car. That officer john adsit is now focused on trying to help others. 18 surgeries later and still recovering. Officer adsit wants to assist other First Responders critically injured on the job. He was hurt so badly the two evidence boxes accident. Adsit had a broken pelvis, broken femur, severed artery, collapsed lung and damage to his eyes. He survived thanks to the support of the community and his family. But he says it wasnt easy. Couldnt hardly believe that reporter Bonnie Bogart was shocked to learn that her next door neighbor had been killed by the dogs in her own home. This is a dog mauling two, pitbulls reporter Jefferson County deputies responded to the home in conifer around 7 00 pm monday after a friend got call of a gruesome attack. We got a nine one one call from a male saying he needed help, screaming in the background reporter the caller in his 30s alerted them the familys two pitt bulls w his home. Shes gonna be in the hallway, shes barely conscious reporter deputies arrived to find the two dogs on the loose in the home and the woman critically injured. She died at the scene.
