Kansas women’s golf fell to No. 7 Texas, 4-1-0, in the Big 12 Match Play Tournament championship round Sunday at Kierland Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Behind a 4-under 68 from sophomore Johanna Ebner, Kansas women’s golf improved two spots to finish seventh at the PING/ASU Invitational at Papago Golf Course here Sunday. The Jayhawks defeated six teams ranked ahead of them en route to their four-consecutive top-10 finish.
Kansas women’s golf moved up four spots to ninth after completing round two at the ASU/PING Invitational at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona. The Jayhawks tallied a 1-over (289) Saturday, which is 13 strokes better then its first-round score.
Kansas women’s golf completed the first round at the ASU/PING Invitational at Papago Golf Club Friday in Phoenix, Arizona. Kansas finished day one in 14th with a 302 (+14) round total. Kansas posted 14 birdies as a team and is one shot from 11th and six shots behind a five-way tie for sixth.
The Kansas women’s golf team heads to Phoenix, Arizona to compete at the PING/ASU Invitational, March 24-26, at Papago Golf Club. The Jayhawks are coming off a fourth place, five-under (859) finish at the Wisconsin Westbrook Invitational, Feb. 26-27. The five under was a 54-hole school record.
