Im brian hackney. Im juliette goodrich. This one is called the peterson fire. It erupted late this afternoon near the town of kelseyville on the west side of clear lake. The flames have raced across at least 400 acres since then. Cal fire has called in three helicopters. Seven air tankers an more than 200 firefighters to get control of it before it can spread to nearby neighborhoods. So far, no evacuations have been ordered, but people who live in the area are understandably nervous. Very concerned, upset, and wondering what is going on. It is really pretty pathetic and sad.
