and the week is beginning. the rising death toll and the threat of more storms. hello. i m don scott. i m jessica kartalija. there s no rest for the met. another round of severe weather and tornadoes hit three other states but steered clear of joplin, missouri, although much of that town is destroyed. as joel brown reports, people are determined to rebuild. reporter: utility crews are repairing power lines in sedalia, missouri. a tornado slammed the town yesterday. it was pretty devastating. reporter: it ripped apart a mobile home park and damaged more than 50 homes. the damage is pretty severe. we have to be thankful, though, that it is really limited to a fairly small area. reporter: across parts of indiana, illinois and missouri, another blast of severe weather and tornadoes punished residents. dozens of people suffered minor injuries. there s significant property damage but no reports of death. in southern indiana powerful winds toppled trees. here in jopl

hello again i m jessica. and i m don scott. we have breaking news where a hazmat situation has forced evacuations at a mall in hanover. a piece of machinery was trying to move a propane tank when it fell and starletted leak and started leaking. there is a half mile evacuation around that area. the mall is not effected and is open for business. sky chopper 13 is on the way to the scene. we ll have an update for you later on in the newscast. the other major story we are following right now two u.s. crew members are back in u.s. hands after their fighter jet crashed in libya. mechanical problems brought down the plane. joel brown now reports. reporter: libyans are coming to see the wreckage of a u.s. fighter jet sent to protect them. the military says an equipment malfunction brought down the f- 15. both crew members ejected before the plane crash the and suffered minor injuries. rebel forces helped to get the crew members safely back into americas hands. the u.s. and
