Children and the staff and we decided to be extra cautious. A war between gangs raised concernsraised it is less than 200 yds from where im standing now. I would have some concerns to for my children. Tensions or already dulles high given already is a socalled welcoming school with kids from underused buildings and other areas. The schools chief walked the safe passage route but with this recent shootings dulles administrators did not want children after school exposed to any possible violence. Wanted to make sure we have a safe and efficient dismissal that day. We asked the staff and children to be efficient in their leaving the school. This is the last day of the special security measures and School Officials and police decided it is safe again for kids to play and parents are relieved. Im glad they did and got the police out here protecting the kids. It is a good thing. The mayor hopes the bill the renovated apartment complex and a new school would open the doors to opportunity. If
