Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha paid tribute to the 40 CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the Pulwama terror attack on February 14, 2019. Sinha honored their courage and sacrifice, stating that the nation will always be grateful for their service. The attack, carried out by a Pakistan-linked suicide bomber, led to retaliatory action by the Indian Air Force on terror camps in Balakot, Pakistan. Security forces, political and social groups, and various organizations have planned events to mark the fifth anniversary of the attack.

The explosion occurred near the house of the victim of yesterday s attack in the Upper Dangri village and chlid succumbed to injuries in the incident.
