As many as 12 people were killed and 13 others injured after a stampede occurred at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine on Saturday morning. J&K Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each for the next of kin of the dead.
